NYC PRODUCER Sandra Beltrão
Multilingual conservation filmmaker, wildlife photographer and bird tour guide in New York City, I produce social-first video content for a range of non-profit, media and corporate clients from the BBC, Vice, The New York Times to Broadway Housing and NYC Bird Alliance, as well as fast turnaround production companies based in NYC, London and Rio de Janeiro. As an MFA graduate in film directing from Columbia University with twenty years of media production, I produce everything from short promos to short films, documentary series like "Treasures of New York" for Channel Thirteen to producing “Brazil: Inside Out", a 5-part documentary series shot on location across Brazil for BBC Education in London. I am now looking for a hybrid position in the non-profit, media or travel sector, that allows me to hone my skills as a passionate conservationist people person and international tour leader, whether raising funds for a wildlife conservation project, or advocating on environmental policy at the local, county or international level. I am equally happy acting as travel consultant, doing voluntary outreach with schools and universities in order to boost membership with high-end corporate donors, sponsors and stakeholders, or leading free beginner bird tours in Central Park, the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest or overseeing citizen science projects that engage new audiences at scale.
